Dr Ian Singleton Director Conservation
Orangutan specialist Ian Singleton has been working for the
SOCP from its very start. He is the director of the Orangutan Conservation Programme and manages
new projects in species and nature conservation.

Previously Jakarta Representative of Orangutan Foundation-UK and
Kalimantan Orangutan Projects Manager of FFI,
Gunung assists with all the day-to-day activities of the Director of
Conservation, helping to ensure projects run smoothly and deadlines are
met.

 |  | Desanti Lavita Lubis Operations Manager With several years experience in large environmental NGOs in north Sumatra for the last 3 years Santi has been responsible for management of all SOCPs day-to-day operations and logistics.

Dr vet Rachmad Wayhudi Quarantine Manager After graduating from University of Gajah Mada, Rachmad joined the SOCP team as senior veterinarian in 2005 and since 2008 has taken on the role of Quarantine Manager. Rachmad has also received training in Australia and Europe during his time with SOCP.

 |  | Asril Abdullah Field Coordinator Asril
joined SOCP as the first manager of the quarantine center. Since 2008
he has assisted the Director in coordinating field surveys and
research, especially at Suaq, where he himself studied for his degree.
Asril has also received training in animal management and husbandry in
a number of EU zoos.

 |  | Fransisca Ariantiningsih Education Manager Wildlife conservation specialist Fransisca oversees outreach and awareness activities including Mobile Unit Conservation Education, Mobile Environment and Health Unit, and Pride Campaign in the provinces of North Sumatera and Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.
