as Senior veterinarian at the SOCPs Orangutan Quarantine Center.

manages the construction of a research station and the development of a

2003, Nuzuar joined SOCP as manager of the Ketambe research station and
kept the station working despite the civil war in Aceh Province. Since
2008 he has helped coordinate surveys and research and supervised
several local university students to carry out research on wild
orangutans.

eight years working experience with various environmental NGOs, Tatang
currently holds the position as Lobby Specialist for the protection of
orangutan habitats in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.
