Save our Red Relatives

To this day orangutans are shot, captured, stuffed and mounted as
trophies, or abused as pets. All this in spite of the fact that they
have been a protected species for more than 60 years. But by far the biggest threat is habitat loss: Their home, the tropical rainforest, is being destroyed on a massive scale by exploitative lumbering, clear cutting for plantations and massive fires. By sponsoring an orangutan you support the SOCP and make a significant contribution to the
conservation of the rainforest. Thus you give an orangutan the
possibility to find its way back from cage to freedom. Thank you very
